I painted the model a yesterday. This is the only pic that would download. Il try more tomoro. Happy Easter to all you Hot Roddin crazys.
Looks good outside. Is the decklid mounted? Just curious if you used inside hinges or are gonna run an external hinge? I may have missed it in your thread but what steering box did you use for the cowl steering?? I used a reversed corvair in my A sedan when I built it and extended the sector shaft, just curious on what you did? any pics of the mount and box??
I did use inside hinges. But the lid isnt mounted yet due to me changin a few things. I used a reversed corvair on this build. I think there may be pics on the first few pages but I did end up changin it due to not enough strength. Man I cant wait to see ur coupe done.
Had the chance to see this car today. Its better in person than the pics can show. Real nice work Walt
Heres a few more pics of the coupe. Im working on the interior right now, other than that its getting close to being "done".. Thats my soon to be wife in the drivers seat, she thinks shes a big Hott rodder..
Killer. Interior looks great, did you build the seats? Congrats on building a bitchin Model A, from scratch, not everyone can do that.
lol It's coming man, haven't updated the thread yet. Building the headers this weekend, just lake headers for now. Still waiting for the f'n machinist to finish my carb adapters, he's only 6 weeks late, hoping for next week to fire it up. In the meantime since the wiring, I've started the ultra boring sanding on the body.
I know the feeling man. It looks great in the pics! Did you build the A with the intent on selling it right away or did you find another "must have" project? Either way, keep on building. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you build next. A bit OT but you mentioned you had some rear 37 coupe fenders, PM if you're interested in selling them. Dean
I didnt have the intention of selling it, I put it on ebay just to get an idea of what something like this could bring I at the last minute it hit reserve. Im working on getting a 30-31 right now to build next.
