    yes sir that is the one i remember from maple grove raceway 70s or 80s thanks for posting pictures . anyone know if car is still around today. be nice to see if it survived all these years. thanks jim

    This is a copy of a handout I got from Dick, when he came to the Northwest in '65, along with a couple of clippings from the paper. The small one refers to a race between Mark Danekas and Preston Honea.

    car in post 1482 is a different car, check wheel wells, car in post 1499 is a picture of godzilla dated 1969,has iarussi on front fender

    I thought so, but I really couldn't tell with all the decals! But now I know what a silver 55 chevy with AWB would look like. I think it would be cool! It still would be nice to know if its still around? Stan

    hey stan ,i remember this silver car from when i worked in a phillips 66 service station in mid to late 60s. the guy would drive car on street. i have some feelers out on trying to find out about the where abouts. if i find any info, i will post thanks jim cornelius

    We added a Ford to the family,this one is going to be my Dads when it's done,We got the front moved 6.5in. and hope to get the rear foward 12in's.

    it has run there, but it sounds as though the driver was a bit timid on a slick track.

    I would be pleased to be consistant at 10.50.

    if the snow ever melts, we are going to give it a thrashing

    The owner of this car offered my brother a straight across trade for his aggressively-raked Buick GS. I'm happy that you picked it up. I can't wait to see it with the proper rolling stock!
