I don't think he did any work on the car. I think he bought it like that and just stored it in the hanger. The body is a fuselage. There are 3 fuselages and a bunch of wings and one complete Cessna. There is a 70's Lincoln Continental stored in there also. I did some research on the seat I found. I looked up the drawing number and spec number and found this type of seat was used in a Curtiss P-40 Warhawk. That was the plane the Flying Tigers used. Cool
A professional quibble. Airplanes are stored in HANGARS, not HANGERS, those are for coats. But hey, great find!!

Brought the Model A home today. Removed it from the Hangar where it has resided for the past 40 years. The previous owner had bought to make a Hot Rod and never got to it. Too many projects and now he's run out of time. He does have other cars and planes that has kept him occupied. Getting ready to put it on the trailer. Front hydraulic brakes.

Good score and congratulations on making a deal. We are 'neighbors' and I'd helped you move it but by the looks of the photo you got good supervision. You drive by every time you go to Albuquerque on I-40 and I expect you to start honking and waving now you know that. The weather is warming up and the highway department is getting all the salt swept up off the roads.....we need to get together and go for a drive soon as I've got the bug bad, just a thought Oh, and I'll bring a coat hangar in case we get locked out of the cars. Hey LJ I honked when I went by this morning but you didn't wave. We need to plan a HAMBer cruise this spring/summer there are quite a few of us around. I think that the Owl Cafe cruise in begins tomorrow that be a place to start.
Just a wash, engine, new tires(mayby brakes) and go But seroiusly i would bring that home to if the price was right, look solid....
