    .....no progress to report. Been behind on funds after having to have knee surgery. Finally catching up after missing work and such.

    Just read your thread start to finish. I gotta say,man that's a damn nice car. Can't wait to see it finished. Btw I also really like how the engine has gotten bigger and bigger thr oit the thread ;). Started out 396 then went 468,496 and now 540 lawl its gonna b a blast.

    Just dropped off the last of the "parts" to the engine builder. Should be ready soon.

    Got the motor back a couple of weeks ago.......
    As much as it pained me, I had to "un-bling" the 540 to look like a stock block 396

    You did a realey fine job i dont think you will have any problem with the headers with a job like you have done. Thats fine real fine.

    Taking time to do a lot of the little things....
    Made the throttle pedal,It will be cable type. The top part will hold the outer cable retainer,the top of the round stock will attach the inner cable. I dont have the cable yet so I dont know what size hole to drill or what thickness for the attaching clevis.

    I do need to make some sort of throttle/travel stop.I have an idea,prob weld a nut to the base of the assemble and can have a bolt adjust up or down

    Very nice build...62 ChevyII is on my short list. I wouldnt go as extreme as you. But that things killer!

    Finally got the other side tacked up. This side was super hard. Steering,oil filter,etc.....
