Well, Ed is dead and that thing is a piece of automotive history... this is one of those times I'm glad someone didn't keep their promise.

Dirty Doug got it. Then pieced it back together in Darryl's garage.

  10. I made the grille shell from the front of a 60 Chevy truck hood. I did a thread on it a long time ago...search "Ovaltine" if you're interested...it was a fun little truck!

Gary is a true artist when it comes to this stuff. A real visionary. I wish he could get a gig like Chip Foose. Turn out drawings and have a crew to build them!

growing up in the 70's in the houston texas area, there was a purple 25 t with a narrowed 59 impala trunk on it. that was the car that hooked me on old cars.

It's in the Chicago area, I believe. Was built by Dave Puhl. Not sure of the build year, but it's old. Stu

  28. these are the kind of cars you'll see if you open up my Hot Wheels collection from when I was a kid. I love them. I don't care if they're not what is "traditional" or functional. I've actually built a couple of hot rods, and from that perspective, they're amazing. Let your inner five year old out once in a while and take in the whimzy...

  29. Here's some random pics. I didn't realize that I had pictures of so many of these cars. Apparently I have a thing for them. If you see something you don't like...feel free to move on.
