We're staying at the Palms Resort, and wondering about transportation to The Orleans. The lady at the Palms told me they will probably have something going back and forth since they have about 100 people staying there for VLV.
Driving down from Oregon tomorrow in tricky53 s 53 chevy.over 2200 miles round trip. The trip should be adventurous. Cant wait for a fun weekend!
Sitting in the Minneapolis airport waiting for my connecting flight. Already run into a bunch of other people heading to the show in the food court!
BOMONSTER was born on the HAMB Friday Art show a couple of years ago and is returning to VIVA again with his original art, shirts, stickers and more. It'll be a perfect day - beautiful people, timeless kustoms and hot rods, outstanding music, awesomely awesome vendors...and BOMONSTER! Please don't arrive before the vendors. HAHAHA.
Heading out early tomorrow (Thursday) for Vegas in my '39 Chev P/U truck! Hoping for a troublefree run.
Just a heads up - Arrived VLV 10:00AM and found zoo in progress - Confused lines, abandoned cars in lines, line cutting - Staff would appear but never stay in one place so zoo behavior would start all over - Moved 30 feet by 11: 00 - Left
I was supposed to bring my Merc, but I ended up having to work even though they said I could have the time off originally.Last minute special project and lack of senority.
Just to set the record straight . You arrived on day 1 of "Move In" day, and from at least 6:00 a.m. a line was forming where we do experience the most amount of cars at one time. We had three lines and no one waited longer than an hour to receive their wristbands and get parked in the show area. After the initial "rush hour" things lightened up and traffic was steady and smooth from that point on. Most large events (whether a Baseball game or Car Show) are like this.
