Christine was on when I got up this morning. That '58 Plymouth is one of my top 10 cars to own before I croak!

Republic's F105 Thunderchief. Big, loud and lethal. I think it was one of the heaviest single seat fighters in the USAF.

Late in my years in uniform I was in the MI Air National Guard and on auxiliary Fire Crash/Rescue crew in the mid 70s when one of these "Thuds" went down in northern Michigan while on a training flight. Debris field was scattered thru the piney woods for hundreds of yards.

Getting back to Rotors and Sydney's Luna Park was a place where I had my first experience on said machine. Apart from getting giddy it was fun to watch the girls go down the wall when the floor fell away while their dresses stayed up (well it was 1965)
    As seen here

How would you feel if this Chicken truck pulled up, and the guy goes to the back and pulls your dinner out of the back side of a giant chicken. LOL

  27. That gas station is still there in Cloquet, Minnesota. They held a classic car show in 2008, in celebration of it's 50th anniversary. They offered gas to car show participants at 24.9 cents a gallon! The same price that it was in 1958 when it originally opened. The original owner also had a Frank Lloyd Wright house.
