I didn't see anyone else posting pics, so I figured I'd start a thread for it.
He show is really great but definitely in the small side compared to Grand National and such, but it's great to see so many cover cars in one place, and in chronological order no less!
I restored the #3 Bill Burke Bellytank specifically for this show, so it's a debut of sorts. They put the tank next to the So-Cal tank which is great because in 49 these 2 cars were battling for top speed of the year at El Mirage, Bill's tank won out, making it the worlds fastest hog rod in 49.
Go today if you got a couple hours to kill and add your pics to this post.

This is Ruben Haute, he painted Coops old crow logo on my tank, here he is holding the Hot Rod cover he was on in the 80's.

It's the Spurgin-Giovanine roadster. A search for that name will probably get you a lot of information.

That's all I have. There were some great cars there and seeing some of the stuff from the 80's brought back memories of when I first started getting into hot rods. It seemed like a pretty low key event considering what was there but it's probably because I'm used to what it's like during the GNRS & Father's day shows.
