Magical number for a magical event. Get this one down in ink on your calenders, get your time off from work now, if a birthday is involved, just convince them they have it wrong by a week or a month so's you can get there.

Couldn't make it last year due to asthma problems, this has got to be my year (again).

wild horses could not keep me away this year. I have been wanting to go to this for years. Just never has worked out in the past.

 

A friend and I are making the 6.5 hr drive out. First time for us, can't wait.

you can pre-register friday night at the grounds. if you want a spot on the infield you better be there by 830-9 at the latest, it fills up fast!

 

the old lady was asking if i'm going and of course i said Yes with no hesitation.... just spectating but still worth the trip

 

I will be there and can't wait. Already took that Friday off to get a head start on my trip and will definitely have my car on the road by then. It will be one of my car's first trips, so if you see me stuck on the side of the road, feel free to give me a push or a tow.

Hoping for less rain than last year.

 

I'll be there with my 55 chevy for the first time.

Showdown Swap Vendors: PLEASE get your checks in by April 4th if you want any chance to be sure to get your same spots. I'll start assigning the spaces after the 4th. We never promise but will always make the effort to keep you in your spot if you like it. Everyone that has sent them in, we will work the requests as best as we can. Look for your paperwork/entry stuff beginning of May. Thanks for supporting the EMMR!

 

......For any first-timers, that's the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing that Larry is referring to here. It's on the grounds and well worth visiting while you are at the Showdown. It's not a huge facility, but it's packed full of cool stuff. Throw some support their way. You won't regret it....Thanks, Don.

 

I've been meaning to make this show for years but something always comes up. Is it just Friday or the whole weekend as the site doesn't have much info?

 

The event is actually Saturday, but folks do show up Fri. and camp out overnight.
