Looks like a blind back, cool car. Are you going all stock like your dad planned or are you going to soup up that banger?

all stock , it is sort of like a blind back but if I remember right the b-back was like a 6window town sedan xcept the third window was covered in steel this is a standard fordor so the body is shorter if you compare the two u will see what I am try to day

  7. The old sedan deserves to be brought back,,,but if your just going to restore it and no traditional hop ups you might be better off posting on the Ford Barn,,the site is geared more toward restoration. HRP

Don't understand the body on it. Has 29 firewall, but the cowl and the rest of the thing screams something else.

Don't suppose it could be a realllly late 29, and just missed being called a 30?

I'd love to see this progress as a stock ride. Subscribed...

  16. It appears to be a '29 Briggs Model 60C Steelback Fordor

I would agree with you and some of the other posters. The runners and cowl look like a '30, but if the vehicle says '29...?

Model A 101, 29 Briggs bodies have a body line very similar to 30-31 Model A's (but not the same or interchangable), but use the 28-29 style tank inserted underneath and the 28-29 style firewall. Briggs also built cabriolets of the same style in 29.
