'57 Imperial is my favorite 14" wheel cover. I used to run 'em on my Comet with a body color (gold) center and rim edge.

  5. Nice list. Definitely some of my favs.

    Agreed on all of them!

Weez's choice of the '57 Imperial wheelcover is a great one as well and often overlooked.

Agreed with all except the Cads. Too busy for my taste.

I seem to recall that the '57 Cadillacs with the Dodge Lancer spinners bolted on were the ultimate in wheel covers. Usually, they were only on the fronts. The rears would always be buried behind the skirts. Wish I had a picture.

They're a bit flashy for my cars at least- my purple '50 Ford coupe had 'em on when I bought it and Immediately put more sedate '50 Plymouth caps on. I just noticed on my last trip to Vegas that the Cad caps were probably styled after Roulette wheels? (Maybe they're just too hard to draw, so they're off my radar-)

Stock, '57 Chevy w/ the 3-wing spinners on them, imho.

Later '70's years, I like the Nova "3-dog-knot install" type rims w/ the stock bow-tie scripted chrome baby moons!!

The '53-'55 Olds spinner caps are the tops for me. I have owned a ton of them.
Two years ago I sold several of them back to a friend in Vancouver, Wa. and then wanted them back. Nice guy I know. Any way he recently found some very nice ones on e-bay and purchased them for me, (I have to pay him back of course) I had several of them for years so am not parting with this batch.

    The '56s are not either.

My vote goes for 57 Plymouth. Seems like everyone had/wanted them in Detroit back then.

Okay, so it isn't stock, but one of the neatest hubcaps I have ever seen is the 1953 Caddy hubcap with three Olds Fiesta "teeth" pointed INWARD from the central recess.
