Did you ever get the new wheels?

 

You might not realize how rare 4 on 4 1/2" wheels are to find. When I called Bob over at The Wheelsmith,he said he hasn't sold any for over 5yrs. They had to dig out the centers,send them to be polished,then send over to the chrome plater,then weld them up. He originally said 2 weeks,but it looks more like 4 weeks. Which means,next week! Patiently waiting!!!
I'll post up the pic's when I get them on.

Another update;

Painted the dash panel white. No more green. The bullets are temporary BTW.

It looks alot better now. Seeing how its cleaned up makes me think a single primary color car with white interior would be a good looking cruiser...

If this one had different wheels,maybe Astros or nice caps,it would look really nice. All one color is an improvement!

 

I don't have a picture but locally there is a pearl white one with a light blue interior lowered over stock wheels and caps that looks fantastic.

Just found out it's 440miles from my house! Won't be heading there anytime soon! haha

Bob it looks better with your changes, but it still is a nightmare on wheels. If, all the green was deleted it might come around. Good luck selling the psychedelic wonder. Guy who owned it before must have been on acid.

I agree with CRUISER, the greens gotta go! Root beer flake roof and scallops would look great..er, better with the orange, but I guess you leave that for the next guy!

Hey...i'm not a fan of the green either,but i'm not putting any money into the paint. It went up for sale right after I put the last hubcap on,haha.
I would go with white top and white scallops,if it were me.
