    Well after a year of searching, me and the little woman found a place to build our home. It's in the woods, no neighbors, and has a real nice( with some work), barn.

    http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/ It's a sister site to the HAMB, it's also run by Ryan and is all about garages and shops.

    Nice. I recently bought a rural home with a hay barn to store my cars. I've been keeping busy fixing it up. Floors, insulation, paint, etc. Maybe someday I'll work on the cars. :)

    Nice place,,I see no need to build a house,,just build a loft in the barn,,,a little heat,some lights,,,indoor plumbing is way overrated..

  23. Well ventilated,,might be hard to heat!:D HRP

  24. You lucky man.... We can't build in woodlands over here. BTW - have a look on this site if you're in to rustic buildings and cabins - just get a cup of coffee and clear a couple of hours;

    Very nice ! Once your out of the 'burbs or the city , you will never miss it. It's great to be able to fire up a car w/open headers if you want to . Enjoy ! - F.F

    That's carrying the ventilation thing to the max. I built a shed that I have the same way with board and bat walls .

    I wish I had a building that size on my place for sure, my little 80 year old one car garage is too small to work in.
