Saw this in my travels today. First time in a long long time that I was stumped and had no idea what a car was so I had to stop and look. Owner offered to let my daughter sit in it for a picture.
You stopped, talked to the owner, took a pic of your daughter sitting in it and you didn't ask, "Whatizzit?"

"All Shark Roadsters were initially Renault based cars, but one was later converted to a Corvair drivetrain – probably influenced by the wonderful “build” by Les Weber and his coupe in Sacramento, California which utilized a supercharged Corvair / Corsa engine. Only one coupe was built on Henry Covington’s originally intended platform – a 356 Porsche, and that’s the one built and customized by Gene Winfield – the one we recently shared on the field at the Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours d’ Elegance. So….three or four missing Shark Roadsters exist out there gang – and four coupe bodies remain unaccounted. Find them if you can – I’ll be cheering you all the way. Hi Gang... That's my 1962 Shark. I showed it last week at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance and brought it over to show my mom who put up with me and my car for decades. That is....I've had the car for nearly 33 years. Here's a photo of myself and the car at the same house I was visiting about 30 years ago. Warning....I'm much older now! @HotRodPrimer... Six Roadsters were built from 1962 to 1966. Six coupes were built from 1961-1962. check out the May issue of Hot Rod Deluxe. Mr. Hackers cars are featured. The Comet is awesome. I would think if someone were to make body kits available like it, that they would sell fairly well....

Hi Guys...it's actually a 1962 Shark Roadster. A coupe came out in 1961 followed by the roadster in 1962.
