Jim, I definitely agree, even though I was the one who posed the question originally. I'm not trying to promote hate of Edsels, just get some good natured fun going about them.
Surely, people who own them love them, but also realise they MAY not be considered the best looking car of all time. I hope they can laugh along. :):):)
    Cheers.

Yep that was Stevie Nicks a few pictures back. Here she is pictured with another drag car.

She sure doesn't appear to be a drag to me..... ;)

This one caught my eye because of the rig that he uses to tow his trailer. It was made in the late 40s and early 50s by a company called New London Metal Processing, that company later moved to Mystic CT and became Mystic river sales in the early 50s. Then in 1954 they became the Powercar Company of Mystic CT. I collect the little cars that this company made in the 50s and 60s that were electric or gas powered. The same basic platform that was used to make this rig also was fitted with tracks and were made into tanks that fired Ping Pong ball out the barrel and Caterpillar D4 mini tractors.

Lets hope the 58 ford and 59 Olds were auction cars as if someone traded them in on a Rambler they do need to have their sanity checked,I have owned a couple AMC products and liked them but would have NEVER traded one of those two for one back around that time. Now if it was a little later and there was a AMX with a 4 speed on the lot then it would be a different story.

The Town House Hotel is located at 2961 Wilshire. Signs are visable on it for the Zebra Room. Possibly there was an event at Lafayette Park which was just across the street or at the Hotel itself.
