Pretty sure those are A/P,Appliance wheels, should have deep recesses for lug nuts and extra reinforcing rib on center of backside of spoke,They made them in 8 1/2 widths but not sure on 10's or 12's were ever made.

  5. The original torque trust d, like on the roadster's that Hotroddon posted. Are the ultimate. 10 inch rear and 4.5 in front. It don't get much better. I put a set of 7's and 8's on my first new car, 65 El Camino, and there still my favorite. Although i have Welds on most of my cars, just traded that way. I just bought a set of 10 1/2 , 5 on 4.5, and don't have anything to put them on yet....some day.....would like to find a pair of 4.5 wide 5 on 4.5 with caps. gasserted

  9. Hey Chris haven't seen your truck in a long time. Since the days you worked at the body shop behind our copier shop. Can you give the specs on the tires and wheels you are running now? They dont look to be the same ones you used to have on there.

Heres a set on my 56 and on our little vintage travel trailer we travel with. I love it. It was done do long ago but I believe the trailer ones are like 4.5 x 15 and the 56 are like 7 or 8x 15. Guys at Discount hooked me up and everything fit well. I didn't ask too many questions. Photos are all along RT 66 in Az. on our way to Flagstaff Az for their car show in Sept. Great show. Hey, hey Mark! How are you! Yeah, been a looong time!

The wheels in the photo are the original wheels that I ran when I first finished the truck. Then I had PS Engineering build me the very first set of 17" five spokes way back when and I ran those for a number of years. They were fun when they were unique, but since everyone else jumped on the bandwagon and built larger diameter five spokes, they became less and less appealing to me. So I went back to what i had before.

They are 15x6 and 15x7 ETs with 215/65 and 275/60 BFGs.

  20. 15 x 10 Magnesium Americans with Mickey Thompson 10.00-15 pie crust slicks by Radir 15 x 6 International Dragmasters (AL) with Firestone 7.75 - 15 s . The fronts are supposed to be a mid(?) 60s Vette tire. Theyre tall and go[IMG] well with the slicks

  21. :cool:Here's a better shot of the front one. The smooth sidewall just does it for me! Thats an ET oval cap on the Dragmaster. Interesting is that the two front rims are identical except one is marked on the back in a raised relief and one was made without it. Glass beaded the centers and lightly sprayed them with Plastikote Cast color. In some kinds of light it almost has a gold sheen.[IMG]

  26. Thanks for the info. I have a Unibody too now. I purchased some new 15x7 and 15x8.5 TTO's for it. Im slowly putting a new wiring harness in it. When Im done its time for tires so Im trying to decide what size to get. Yours looks really good with those sizes.
