Havent been on in a while but I thought I would share some progress on my model A I have been working on. It is chopped 6", channeled 3", I built the entire frame myself, flathead, and 40x40 sliding ragtop for a roof insert. The roof looks stockish when the ragtop is closed. Here are some pics. Dont tear me up to bad, Ive always built customs, this is my first hot rod build..

If you look at the side photo you can see the the floor is flat, it kicks up after the flat part of the seat..

Is the ragtop from the same people that make them for VW's? Can't think of the name? California somethingorother?

The top is from slidingragtop.com. I had to add metal to the sides and along the back to get the ragtop frame to drop in.

Ironically I just posted a question about the same sliding top you used. What size did you start with?

Build is looking good, I also like the top. Was thinking of doing something similiar with mine except I want to keep the wood ribs.

Chopd54 your car is looking awesome. You have any close up pics of your sliding top setup. The tracks and the top itself.

    thanks

Looks great. No doubt it will be killer when it's done. Are you still on pace to making it to Billetproof in may?
