Mods please move this thread if it's not appropriate here, just trying to help some So Cal folks.

Saw these as I was looking for 64 Dart parts(no luck):

Wow! Is that the usual or did they just make a desert sweep?

One of the guys said the previous owner of the company was hoarding the cars, new owner decided to drag them out to be parted. There's usually a few 60's and 70's cars when I visit, but nothing like this concentration of oldies.

Damn, a whole lot of those look straighter than the typical 'field find'.

I kinda want whatever that is at the top of the second post.

    I didn't know California had a Monrovia.

Gonna be 200 HAMBers there by this weekend.

I grew up at that pick-a-part. Also my shop is about a quarter of a mile fom there. Those cars were never out in the main yard. As far as I knew the old owner wanted a little more than market value for those cars, then they come with a salvage title. He wouldn't let any parts go either. Kinda cool that the new owner opened up that side of the yard.

Here is an address for you guys.

  13. I'm almost positive that is my old buddy's Austin A105. He was a Healey guru in SoCal. It had a hot, late BJ8 3000 engine in it and a four speed with OD. The Monrovia car has a bit more patina than it did 20 years ago.

I took the picture in '06 but I think it's still there somewhere - supposedly it's a '29 Oakland roadster or cabriolet in a jillion pieces along with a '30 A radiator shell. Happy hunting and post what else you find - wish I could be there.
