That's a gorgeous car! These pics are from the Genesee Valley show at RIT in 2005. They should get a big payday from that sale! Keep us posted.

Thanks for the link. Love the '56 Maserati 300 S and the '55 Fiat Spyder.
And this is the track-nose T you're talking about, right? (see below). Interesting that it is called a 1950 Ford ('50 Flathead). Or is my head completely up my ass?

  17. Thanks for the link to ALL those pics.!! Ramblur, El Dawgg, Mr. Tomato Head(my Bro) and me made the trek up Sunday, to be with our good friend Nads. Been 3 other times and never tire of seeing the incredible selection of vintage tin. Miller cars made my head spin!! Also got the warm and fuzzy's when I was near the GT40's. Having read the book "Go Like Hell" about the Ford vs Ferrari wars. Actually got to be up close and personal with these wheeled warriors I've read about.
People kept asking me.."is there any one car you can't live without?" Almost impossible to answer...but a few really stuck out.

Yes sir, that's it. Owned by a PA collector with lots of cool stuff, several HAMB friendly. Not sure about Amelia Island classes, maybe someone can explain. But AACA racecars are called the year you restore the racecar to. You get to choose any year the car was raced and it gets restored to that year's style, color, configuration. , no regard for engine or body. MAYBE this is the same, I don't know. I NEED to see this show sowmtime. Thanks for all the pics!!

I saw Dale driving the Veritas down A1A after the show, everything he owns runs and he drives it.

Nads, can you identify the blue car in post #33, the shot that shows only a latch pillar, apparently on a pillar-less four door with rear suicides?

Better late than never... I finally got the time to get my images cropped and ready for prime time. Once again, the trusty Nikon doesn't seem to like the contrasty winter sun in JAX, so apologies for all the high contrast. All in all, another NEAT show to see. I got to see Nads' and family and their Caddy, meet a web pal - Chad Raynal (vintage TransAM racer from CA), and chat with Sam Posey and Dan Gurney briefly. Here are some pix of my favorite cars but I did forget to get shots of a custom, Supercharged '53 Caddy Eldorado. The dammed thing had a 4-71 blower! In 1953! Did dragsters even use them yet in '53? I saw a lot of amazing cars, but don't know much about the specifics. The builds are amazing and even the paint on some of the bicycles seems Ridler worthy. Later, Gary

Thanks to everyone who posted photos! Getting to read the cars history plaques was a great feature. Got to work on that black 1750 Alfa years ago, glad to know it is still around. Bob
