The car you have has a different dash than the car used in the scene when rizzo and the other girl get into the merc with crater face. Did they change the dash or something?
i met bill when i visited his shop,didnt know it was there and had drove past loads,saw a shoebox outside and pulled over,he welcomed me in and showed me everthing,had lots of flathead motors and parts,he was proud to own that merc,i could have stayed for ages buti didnt have the time,always planned on going back,guess its to late now,i still have the parts brochures he gave me,,nice guy

Heres an update: Been working night and day. Flathead is back in it, painted last week, and laid and painted the flames yesterday. Will be at the roadster show this weekend inside in the booth of "The Shop" of Palm Desert. Not finished, but has the paint, razor hubcaps, and damn close! Will try to post some pictures.
something on yahoo news says this car is now for sale? i did see it at the Hot Rod Homecoming back in may last year. cools.
....Recreated "Scorpion" stickers on both doors..... You think they were stickers when they filmed the movie? How hard would it have been to paint them for crying out loud? For $130,000 I wouldn't expect stickers.
