Welcome to the HAMB from NC Oklahoma. A late good Friend and Mentor had a 47 IHC dark green short bed pickup. Ray had worked at the Oldsmobile dealer at Tonkawa in the late 40's .He picked up a short block v8 Olds that had been replaced . A buddy of his raced dirt track and had stuffed his car into a dirt wall ,totaled out the race car . Ray got the engine out of the race car. The block was broke. The heads,cam and lifters went into the bored out warranty block. The 47 IHC pickup had hit a guard rail . Ray bought it and repaired it ,set the Olds engine / tranny in setting it to the right to clear the steering box. It was a sleeper and he had left several punk kids setting at stop lights over the years. Enjoy yours.

thanks everyone. trying to get some more work done on it this weekend, trying to find some chrome wheel rings and if possible spider caps in a 6x7.25 bolt size.
