I have been working on my 1950 coupe for a couple years now between other progects and its finally starting to come together . i have done tons of work on the ol girl.. first of all i chopped it about 4 in front and put the back where it looked right. then i thought the panel between the window and the trunk was to long so i cut the whole trunk area loose and moved it foward 5 in which put that trunk panel about the same length as a stock coupe . then used some caddy taillights i had laying around and sunk them in to follow the fender line . and then since i did all that i went ahead and pancaked the trunk and flush fit some skirts .. so what do u guys think so far ???
That rear bumper really flows with the rest of the car. I wish a lot more customs could figure out that a bumpper is also a part of the overall look, not just a tack on.
Those taillights and NOT shaving the wind splits is a fantastic combination! More pics damnit! Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
well here is the front , a little more simple... frenched lights shortened and rounded hood and another plymouth bumper. thanks for all the really nice comments guys
I really like the tailight set up and the way you moved the trunk area . fresh approach but very cool . .
WOW That looks perfect so far! Lots of nice kustom work that is definatly different that a lot of other 'boxes. Really stands out and looks nice!
those 49 plym bumpers look great on your car and the tailights fergetabout it!!! keep up the great work
