[IMG] Here is an update on Ed Pearsons, AA/FA. This is exactly one year after just a thought of...Wouldn't it be cool to repop your old altered. The car is almost to the point where it can be disassembled, for paint. One of the latest additions are those awesome looking weed sweeping headers, built by legendary chassis builder Pete Tropeano. Pete also drove this car several times in the late sixties.

[IMG] Head on shot... It was not easy taking photos in Ed's cramped garage. Ed has a 50 Merc project car for sale that will free up some space in the garage. The Bantam body should be going down to the paint shop soon for final body work and a multi colored metal flake paint job.

Not only does this build give me the warm fuzzies, but it inspires the hell outa me!
Are you guys just using a clutch, or an in-and-out box, too? I'm shopping for a box and coming up zip, so far. Would prefer not to push mine back from burnouts, if possible, but don't want a trans. Do tell...

We will be using a peddle clutch, with direct drive. The car will be a cackler and bunouts.

Not a AA/FA but here are a few of mine, still looking for some wheels to make it more correct, I dont run that scoop anymore and went with a Hilborn style scoop.

[IMG] Here is a picture of Ed Pearsons' Bantam AA/FA , with it's new psychodelic paint job. The paint job is an exact copy of the original 1968 car. The garage is cramped, some better pictures will be coming. Still more work to do... We are leaving for Bowling Green Wednesday morning.
