My favorites are the '55-57 Nomads and the '57-59 Mercury hardtop station wagons, both two and four doors. After that, the '60-61 Mopar hardtop wagons and the '57-58 GM hardtop wagons. And after that, all the two-door wagons kinda lumped together, with maybe the '57 Plymouth Suburban near the top of that heap. ;)

I dig all pre-1965 wagons, but 2-door wagons (sedan deliverys don't count but they're OK too) reign supreme, especially the rare ones!

I love all the tri-five Nomads with a passion but I have to say I think the '57 quarter panels and trim best augment the Nomad roof.

  17. Well I've had a 56 Nomad. 55-57 Nomads are cool. But Pontiac Safari are cool. Have a one owner 1962 Bonneville Safari.

  18. I went to High School in Southern California in the 60's and even though I never had one I think Model A woodies have got to be one of the all time greats.

Studebaker Wagonaire has my vote, but I'm a little biased.

  22. The '55-'58 Fords are way up there for me. Working on one right now that I'm hoping will be on this list!

I also really like the Mercurys and later Fords, oh and the late fifties Buicks & Olds, and the, and the..... I just Love wagons.
