That's more of a race than a show... and it sounds like fun!

Just some thoughts:
Where is it?
What's happening on the 9th and 11th? It seems like everything is on the 10th.

That will help clear things up for people who want to go

Friday August 9th:
Spectator weekend pass $5.00 Gates open at 5:00 PM Free primitive camp set up & vintage hot rod movie show on the big screen in the woods.

Saturday August 10th:
White Lightning Bootlegger Run - starts at 8:00 AM, Bootlegger entry fee $20.00 Limit is 50 bootleggers, pre 1973 rides. Bootleggers will be timed while driving their rides on a course thru woods and fields, stopping at 9 stills to load 1 gallon of shine per still, total load delivered to the finish. Spill your shine and lose some time.
Down & Dirty Car Show - Registration starts at 10 AM, pre 1973 rides, entry fee $10.00 includes two weekend spectator passes, dash plaques first 100, leave your car duster at home, top 10 awards.
White Lightning Party - starts at 6 PM - Till ???, Bands include The Rocket 88's & Madison Crawl. Awards announced at 7 PM.

Sunday August 11th:
Pot luck breakfast, not sure when it will start after the late saturday night activities.
Adults only please (over 18) Damn insurance requirements.

Is that for the whole weekend? Sunday only?

 

18 age limit is due to insurance requirements. Something to do with car racing & beer at same event.... Sorry, we have kids too that would like to attend but that's the way it has to be.
