IMHO, there's a difference between an "illustrator" and a "designer." One has been schooled in the fine arts of oil painting, watercolors, etc....the other has been schooled in "commercial art," ne: advertising and logo design.

I suspect you want someone that can design the pieces for you, and put up with however many changes/variations you deem necessary to each piece to make it sellable...

My background is commercial art and life's experience was working as a designer/staff artist for several ad agencies...I'm not on anyone's "illustrator list" but my capabilities are for hire.

There are many great illustrators on this board...I especially enjoy Jeff Norwell's work.

My all time favorite though, would have to be Darrell Mayabb and his cartoonist alter ego, Charley Cruz. I grew up with Darrell's work on my walls and got to meet him in 1986 when I was 15. We became friends over the years, and he is a fantastic artist and human being. Always a big smile and hand shake for any one he meets.

Look him up,he's been at it for decades.

I really enjoy Friday's here for the creative artwork. I was a technical illustrator for several defense agencies and a Silicone Valley Graphics firm. I was always impressed with Davis Kimble's illustrations of exotic cars. His airbrush ability is second to none. His cut-away paintings of superimposed imagery exhibit amazing talent.

I really appreciate all good styles.
These reply's introduce me to cool artists and illustrators I've never heard of.
I don't have a lot of office time, so I'm researching names / styles as I can .

    Everyone mentioned is top notch.

You caught me with a bit of down time so I worked up a couple of quick comps myself, cause I really dig the bombshell.
