Gave up smuggling beer a long time ago. Switched to rum & coke. Mix up a bunch of them in the plastic bottles and super glue the caps back on if they have to be sealed. We drink them everywhere, even in the pits.

Sports bottles filled with margaritas work also.

sorry, but it will cost 7.00 a beer.

you all going will have to check out Chad Folkema's 30 A coupe with V12 Lincoln (Street Rodders Top 10) along with other cars and nostalgic rail dragster from Mike Borema's GasAxe Garage from Allendale, MI.

What's the big deal? Their venue, their rules. If you don't like it, don't go. Start your own show.

Just keep the adult bevrages out of the cooler. Put em under the seat in the trunk glovebox whatever till ya get inside. Or pay the piper but $5.00 or $7.00 is steep I have seen it as high as $9.50 at some venues!

I love beer (not that Bud Light Crap). I don't usually drink at a show-partly because I like seeing what's up and if it's outdoors, I'm moving so fast, I'll dehydrate. However, the fact is the promoters are not against drinking beer,it's drinking beer that they haven't personally sold and made a profit on.
Part of me says it's their house and their rules, but then the kid in me says "let's see if we can outfox the old folks".

LOL, saving the cookies for party peeps on Saturday night.;)

Pop and water are fine. They opened my cooler and lifted up a couple of waters and pops. Not sure how much they'd dig if I was a hoodlum looking dude.:D

Nope, they actually opened up all my doors lifted chairs and other stuff out of the way so they could check under seats.

    Genius

Thats a custom signature on my Droid. I don't really text and drive. You coming to Detroit this weekend by chance?

They are checking under seats, or at least they did mine.

I don't drink, so I don't care as much as others, but it is an invasion of privacy I guess.

As mentioned before...good luck getting in my trunk. My son and I are the only ones that know how to open it. I'd just tell them it's welded shut.

This is BS, the "Beer" they sell there is complete shit....If the beer selection was decent and good I would not mind spending the money, but the plan simple fact is that the beer they sell there is horrible...

I Know hot rodders will find ways to get beer in there. We are a creative breed. I can see it now....next year there will be purpose built, hidden storage compartments on basement dweller's rides.

This will make for some funny stories.

No problem this morning WALKING in upstairs with duffle bags and a cooler. Beer, mixed drinks and moonshine in the bags, just ice and water in the cooler. Nothing got search. Walking in upstairs is the key.

Hot Redeo Ed and Ben D as the muscle.

    Good luck.

sent from the front seat of Big Olds while cruzn at 70mph and steering with my knees.
