I own a vintage car [pre-'70] salvage yard, it started as a hobby in the early eighties, but now is more than full time. Before that, I owned a repair shop in Reno.

Auto Industry Fixed Operations Consultant, formerly diagnostic developerfor Sanp On Diagnostics, Life Cycle Maintenance for SAE, and a mechanic back when we riveted new linings on and rebuilt everything on the car in 1970 up until we replaced most stuff 1985 ish. A completely different job from rebuilding 401s and switch pitch TH 400s to SFI Turbo Grand Nationals.

I work for Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems in El Segundo, CA. I am a mechanical engineer working integration and test for weather sensors. I have been working the last 5 years on a weather sensor program the first of which went up in October of '11 on the Suomi NPP satellite launched out of Vandenberg AFB. The sensor is called VIIRS and is responsible for the current “Blue Marble” that has replaced the one from Apollo back in the ‘70s.

I'm retired from the USAF, I drag race (playtime), do body/paint work on a few high quality streetrods and musclecars (each job completed before taking another). Some welding and fab work, mostly on drag cars. Oh yeah, I also like fruitcake.
