Make me write bad checks! The only thing I don't feel on this car is the headlight treatment.Other than that,me likey!
Refreshing to see no skirts on a custom (but I think I might like it better with skirts ). Me like too.
Great car. Thanks for a refreshing look at a custom. They don't have to be wild to be great. Later, Dick
I am not a 46- 48 fan but I like this one. I think the front end treatment it's tasteful ,not overdone. I wonder if it has survived .
Cool car because it had been a custom for a long time but blending late 40s and mid to late 50s is just not my cup and I think it is hideous most of the time.Thats what these cars had to do at the time for anyone to even take a second look at them. That explains the grill headlights ,no skirts etc.Its was all over for me by about 1955 or maybe 56 at the most.Very cool car though.
It seems like a lot of the great customs from the earlier days went thru this transition and I dont think any of them ever looked better.Just look at Gil Ayalas 46 Ford when it got quad headlights.Sad story for most of those ealier great Customs.Cool point to bring up Ryan.......thanks.
