I had a great time guys thanks to everyone involved! Still about two hours from home I'll get the photos going up as quickly as I can in the morning.

  3. A large thank you goes out to the Torques for a job well done. Turned out to be a very, very good day. All the Northstar folks were spot on. Thanks . Actually found time to chat with old as well as new friends. Thanks again and we'll be seeing you in the lanes. Texas HillRat

Does anyone know what happened to that one guys car? He got half way down the track and went up in smoke. They shut the track down for over an hour after that, and that's when I left.

Dont under estimate that little English Ford Thames of Andy's.He put a whooping on The Shockers ass with it Friday night .That little green Bread van has come along way in a short amount of time :).I think a rematch at the DOTD is gunna be in order. The Dodge of mine will be able to stretch its legs a bit better in the 1/4 mile ...

Looks like it had a piston that needed some fresh air.

    Just gets better every year...:)

And now my 19 year old head banger wants to build a retro rod..........;)
He's very stealthy: he's already inventoried an gaggle of spares in the shop he knows I won't need for the race car (and, dangit, he's right!)

I should have suspected something when he cleaned and washed the showcar and loaded up the truck on his own.

I'm not foolin' anyone either: I'm REALLY fired up over this!
