My younger sister with Louis Clements mid sixties - notice the pull off tab on the bottom – it’s an old Polaroid picture.

Remember Jim Maguire? The ’63 URC Champion lost his arm at New Breman in early ’64. He went on to race sprint cars again, but was denied a USAC Championship license to participate in ’69.

When Charlotte went bankrupt in the early eighties they paid off their stockholders with 1 new share of stock for every 100 you owned. Wonder if this is worth anything now??

N.D. Copley had a Ford sponsored by the Lincoln Jamboree at Hodgenville, I believe. That's probably the one Copley62 is talking about. The only other Lincoln reference I can think of would be the 1949 Cosmopolitan in which Bobby Watson won the first Figure 8 race at the Fairgrounds Motor Speedway in June of 1961.

AWESOME thread guys , LOVE IT. My next project will be a historic nascar... I remember one of the first time I went to Bristol, Butch Miller showed up and qualified for the CUP race with his car on an 18' open trailer... Butch was/is a hell of a short track guy.
