What do ya'll think about the price? I'm thinking more like $1500. I talked to the seller, but have not seen it in person yet.

Take a look at it first and make sure its not rusted out , 1500 is a fair offer . The June issue of Mopar Action has one in it with two back to back 440's .

Looks good in the picture. Take a close look at the very bottom of the rockers & front fenderwells directly in front and behind the tire for rust. $1500 is a fair offer but would not be surprised if he wont go below $2500 these days.

 

I concur with your statement about the price. $1500 is fair, but when is the last time you saw a VW bus, single/double cab or Econoline go for $1500? Weather has been terrible the past week, so I have not gotten out to check it out yet. If everything is solid, and it runs decent 2500 or 3K certainly won't be a rip off.

Talked to the owner last night. He says the body is solid, and talks like the motor/trans and all is in good shape. Only thing missing is rear left window. He says its all flat plate glass, so that would be an easy replacement to procure.

I have 69 triumph I was considering parting with to buy this. Here is a pic...

I mentioned it to the owner as a possible trade and he sounded interested. Said he was a triumph mechanic in a previous life. Now the question is trade straight up, or some cash to sweeten the pot.

Went out and took a look at THIS today at lunch. Body is solid, but the owner over sold its road worthiness. He was able to start it, but it would not do much more than idle. Also the brakes were gone, so it will take a roll back to get it home. He said he would not take less than $2800, which means he would probably take 2500...but that is about a grand more than I want to pay. Decisions...

 

KSNPVMT, what happened with the A100? Did the guy take it home or are you working on it?
