1963 Ford Galaxie 500 fastback questions

Hey guys i have a problem, i own a 1963 galaxie 500 fastback and need a windshield.I have a chance to pick up a good used one off a 1963 galaxie 4 door sedan,and im unsure if it fits? Do they interchange? Thanks for any help?

 

no - won't fit I'm afarid. The Fastback roof is lower.

 

fastback and convertible use the same windshield if i recall.

 

Try Bob's classic auto glass. I got one for a '54 chrysler from him. He seems to have a very good range.

These windshields will all fit-
'63 Galaxie 2-door fastback
'63 -'64 Galaxie convertible
'63 Mercury 2-door fastback
'63 -64 Mercury convertible
'64 Galaxie 2 and four door fastback
'64 Mercury 2 and four door fastback

Please note, the '63 Ford HT boxtop and '63-4 Mercury breezeway models use a different windshield.
