gonna be running the spring behind the rear end, but need to make a suicide perch coming off the back, and yes i will weld in some gussets to strenghten it up, but any ways just to get an idea i mocked it up with some clamps.

Nice work, it's coming along nicely. Do you have contact info for your buddy that makes those drilled boxing plates?

yeah ill inbox you his number, he got them to me super fast too and price is great he makes them like the usual type that go on the outside of the frame or he cuts them down a bit like what i wanted to i could recess them in the frame a bit, ive heard that they are alot sturdier if you recess them in , but im sure people have their own mind set about that.

Cool build so far thanks for sharing! Your engine reminds me of mine before the most recent re-do.

What did you use to get this finish on the trans? Looks like a lot more than just some good ol fashioned buffing compound. Also, awesome work on the frame clean up, and I'm digging the claw hand coat hanger!

actually i used a wire wheel from harbor freight, put it on my handheld grinder and went to town, then just clear coated it.

Wow, so simple. Turned out amazing. I've got the exact same wheel from HF... time to get the 700r4 looking snazzy.
