Damn, now I know where all of the metalworking genes went. I just went out to my garage and threw rocks at all of my shitboxes because of this car. Thanks a lot!

    :D

Absolutely amazing. I'm sub'd for the outcome.

UNREAL! The trans tunnel buck idea is awesome, I wish I would have thought of that! I saw somewhere you said that the car "may be something special" .. Umm. YEAH. you could say!
What a perfect stance combined with impeccable metalwork! Keep up the good work!
Also, is there a thread on here with that 53-54 in the back ground of the first few shots?

My apologies for not posting updates. The Coupe was delivered to get wired and a custom seat made by Jimmy Z. Pep has got the car fired up and should be ready to start driving soon, work out any bugs and or adjustments, then completely disassembled for paint, chrome, etc.. I've been busy with other projects, one in particular, I will start a new 'sneak-peek' feature of Clay Slaughter's bare metal 1941 Ford Custom. Thank you for all your comments and feedback, I appriciate it!

Well, here's an update. The Coupe made it to WCK in Santa Maria. I wasn't certain it was going to be there. We were sitting on the curb watching the nice cars cruising around, and then there it was. I was really stoked to see it driving around that night, and seeing everything functioning properly. The car received an award on Sunday, which was icing on the cake. The car is far from finished, and deserves to be shiny, which is the plan, but I felt mileage on a project like this was more important than..bling. Jimmy Z 'killed-it' with the seat he made for it too, awesome job!

  25. absolutely incredible to say the least. great attention to detail and your sheet metal is amazing.

  26. I missed this one, glad it came back up! This is one of the nicest fab jobs I've seen in a while, just outstanding. I have seen those adjusters on Posie's, and maybe some others.

I always wondered how well they work, and how much adjustment they give.

Sort of reminds me of a Land Speed car in profile. Great work...
