Here's my 1961 Dodge Pioneer D-500 and 1962 Chrysler 300, both lowered with blocks in the rear and unwinding the torsion bars in the front...

    The Volvo a bit lower

Drove it like this for a week, worked better than I thought if I just watched out for curbs and such... Put my half coils back when I hit the drainingplug on the tank loose and got this ride height

Not done yet, gotta notch for the driveshaft and pumpkin to get a little more out back. I Like the front a little high for that speed boat stance... Looks a mile high compared to alot of stuff on this thread haha..

Here's my 26 T, roof is 45" off the ground, grill bottom is 1.5" got to plan carefully going over roadkill! Been driving it for 7 years now, and haven't had to replace the grill yet.

Heres my Fairlane, she sits pretty low with no bags. It has Aerostar coils up front, and blocks in the rear. If I load er up for a show in the driveway she scrapes on the curb, low, floats like a dream.[IMG]

I've got a '51 that I'm just getting started on and I'm really liking the stance of you car. I hope I can get mine to sit about like yours.

Rear: 5" drop coils, flipped trailing arm brackets, ECE shock relocators, ECE super track bar. 1979 Suburban 12-bolt (narrowed a total of 3"). 15x8.5 (3.0" backspace) ET Supers, BFG 265/70-15 tires.
Front: 2" chassis "Z", Belltech drop spindles (2.5"), 1 coil cut, lower control arms moved .75" forward to improve caster. 15x6 Et Supers, 215/60-15 tire.

Still not low enough. I might come down another 1" in the rear. With the chassis "Z", I have tons of ground clearance in the front, which is a huge problem on these trucks when you lower them.

Let's see some more unbagged rods and customs...without turning this thread into an argument for or against either one, shall we?

You may call it rubbing. But it sure as hell sounds and feels like scraping.
