  1. Thanks guys!

BRENT the notches where cut using a 4.5" angle grinder with a cut off wheel. I wish I had a plasma...

  2. Man you do amazing work. I hope you don't plan on covering that floor with carpet, it's a piece of art!

  3. Thanks Mike, unfortunately It will be covered in carpet.

  4. I got the transmission hump finished today. Yesterday I cut the floor out under the seat area to give the transmission room if i ever need to remove it. Just need to drill the holes for the bolts and install the threaded clips.

Very nice job Justin  , are you going to make a gasket seal for the trans hump to stop fumes but still be able to remove it rather than stick it down ?

Making a foam gasket would be best if you ever have to get to the gearbox for any reason, even if it has to do with the shifter. I figured you would carpet, everything you have done, even though it is cosmetically pleasing to the eye, it is really more for strength and shape holding properties, and when you have your feet on the carpeted floor, last thing you want is for the floor to start popping up and down/oil canning, nothing more annoying than that, great job and i look forward to your next modifications Justin. ;)

glad i found this thread. can't wait to see more!!

  24. Well Ive been working on the truck alittle over the last couple weekends so heres an update.

First i finished the floors by remaking the front of the seat pan area.

Then I bought a set of front fenders off of Skull on here, and started fixing the rust. The back edge full of rust and the mount was gone so i cut that part out and used the old fender to patch it, also the front corner was gone so i made a new one. I also removed the rivets that hold the mount to the fender.

And all welded and smoothed( both are done, just no picture of the other one up close)

Next i got some G78-15 tires and wheels on it to make sure it sat low on there proper height tires and throw a fender out back to see what it will look like with the rear fender lip modification done.

Next i modified the shift lever so i can bolt on a custom shifter when i make it, then i built one out of wood to see if it works and looks good. Heres what ive come up with, there will be speed hole in it and it will be chrome when done.
