68 Mustang rearend a good choice?

    Do you think a 68 Mustang rearend would be a good choice for my Model A roadster with no fenders? Is it too wide?

  3. The earlier Mustang is about 57" wide up to 1966,,in 67 the got a little over 59" wide. HRP

    I used a maverick r/e under my a roadster
     

  5. Some of the six cylinder Mustangs had a very small diameter housings and even a tapered/or downstep at each end of their axle housings.....

    I would use a maverick 8in 5lug backing plate to backing plate is 50in. I used one in my 30 model a coupe,Also my friend used one in a 32 roadster, looks great. He had a 67 or 68 mustang rear end it just looked to big .You can find other rear ends in Mustang 2 and comet .these are some of the shortest 8in around.
