dont understand...unless you mean the thread is getting deleted because of a none traditional build. regardless i love the work youve done
I really like what you have done, my favourite combination hot rod road racer. Not traditional agreed but very nice.
he bought it and it won't last on here---someone did a lot of work and it looks to be a good start...
Mostly hot rods that use original parts, old speed equipment and repro parts. It also helps if it's in a style that was popular before 64'.
I too agree it's cool but not very applicable to the H.A.M.B. We are pretty close to strictly traditional 'round these parts, and the parts timeline stops at about 1965. There are a few this-n-thats that sneak under the tent around here, but especially with open wheels, stuff it's usually beam axles and steel wheels.
Awesome car... But like already mentioned, not really Trad enough for this Forum. But Please repost on one of Ryan's other Forums, Dogfight http://www.dogfightmag.com/forum/ It would be a perfect fit there...
Usually I'm all for restraining the natives to keep this place focused on traditional builds but there are times when I'd like to see a step forward in engineering and this is one of those times. Frank
I gotta agree with Frank,,maybe not traditional but I like the style,,sure bets the corvair/53 Ford thread HRP
The pushrod IFS makes it a very clean setup. And I really like that it doesnt have huge brackets hanging out in the breeze, like the Boyd and Boyd-like Streetrods. I hope the OP will start a Buildthread on the Dogfight, because I'd like to see more of it...
