67 camaro rs. Came out of Michigan and had rust in the rear quarters already in 1977. I let it get away but built a clone to it a few years later and eventually let it get away too. I'll do another one someday.

    Automobile:
    Dad's 4dr. '63 Dodge 330
    318c.i.
    Push-button automatic
*passed but uneventful ! (a long time ago)

    Motorcycle:
    A buddy's Honda CB450...
Late in the year, 4 or 5 of us went along to watch a buddy test for his motorcycle endorsement...he passed.
So we decide, what the hell, as long as we were there "lets all take the test".
It was so cold that the examiner passed all of us without completing the whole course.

Huh...guess ya had to be there!

Man, that's cool. I love those black with red interior early 60's smaller Fords and Mercurys. Had 2 Meteors and a Fairlane. Never had a Falcon though, maybe someday.

I took mine in my Dad's '70 Olds 88, 4 dr hardtop. the car had the Police package, 455-4 bl, duel exhaust, heavy duty suspension and posi. I did the test in Boston on all the narrow one way streets with an RMV officer that was about 6'4 and VERY serious and intimidating. At one point, a guy behind us was tail-gating and beeping at me because I was only going 25 (speed limit) so the officer told me stop in the middle of the road, put the car in park and set the e-brake and wait for him. He got out and went back and gave the poor bastard behind me a ticket for tail-gating. When he got back in he gave me a lecture about not driving like a jerk like the guy behind me. I pased first time but man was I glad when it was over.

On 2 wheels, my '83 CB1100F, loved that bike wish I never sold it.

The first time (I failed:( ) I drove my Dad's '64 Bel Air with a three-on-the-tree w/OD. I was so afraid of doing something wrong or hurting his car I could barely operate the clutch. I think I missed a stop sign.
Mom signed me up for a driving school. I took one lesson on a '60's era MOPAR with automatic etc. The instuctor said that was all I needed. Took the test, passed and the rest is only a foggy memory.

My Dad's brand new '62 Buick electra 225 4-door hardtop. State trooper was so impressed with the car I don't think he even paid any attention to my driving. Yeah, I passed--was 13 years old--legal in North Dakota for farm kids and children helping with the family business. Yes, the good ole days!

I took my drivers license test in my dad's 1954 Ford 1/2 ton pickup.
I believe it was a six cylinder, three on the tree. Passed it the first time.
Was real proud of myself!!!lol Oh yeah that was in 1963, June I believe.
