New guy... Looking to start second half of my career... First half was 21 years of nothing but NASCAR CUP fabrication. Have done some restoration work, mostly sheet metal fabrication and installation... Did some work in Texas, but not enough to call it a living in four months.. Did lots of stuff in that time. Anyone have any advice?

Welcome from the west coast of Florida. I have a few friends who do the exact same thing as you did for some NASCAR teams. They hung all the sheet metal for the bodies and were also very talented. The guy's I knew who traveled with the team I think had it a lot harder and after a few years of that they wanted just to work in the shop. They all told me the same thing if you like working 60 plus hours a week you will love the job!!!!!!!!! Jimbo
