As mentioned, the Fairplex is very nice, very close and homebase for the LA Roadster club members. Setup day for the swap is on Friday. I am not sure how so many get in on that day, but plenty of people are buying on that day. Plan on having a wonderful time. The show ends about 3pm on Sunday and people scatter pretty fast after that.
And every show at the Fair Plex Cars get stold out of the parking lot from the Sheraton and thay do NOTHING
Contact Eddie Money, I understand he runs a travel agency now. If you are not real familiar with Pomona and the Sheridan is sold out I would suggest a hotel out of the area a bit..... just sayin. Check out KAYAK or Expedia.
Get a room at one of the other hotels and save some money anyway. Check out the Shilo Inns and Best Western in Diamond Bar, they are pretty close by. Bring your GPS and stay off the freeways. If you don't drive over, rent a car to get around anyway so you can go to the open house events at the area shops like So-Cal, Limeworks and Waldens. The best way to get in the swap meet is to get a swap space on Friday and use it as your base for the weekend. A swap space costs $70 and comes with two weekend passes. Bring lots of chain, cables and locks if you want to make it harder for them. They usually go for the easiest pickings.
