  12. Thunderbirdesq just posted some pics of Tony's car on Facebook. They were from the cars first show this weekend.

Everytime I see a pic of this thing I fall more in love with it. I have got to see this thing in person sometime.

    Yup, it's pure bad-ass.

Congrats again Tony. I hope you had a great weekend at the show

    Dave thanks man!
It was a fun weekend and extremely gratifying to have been a part of the show, and drive thing in and out under it's own power.
It was great to catch up with all the guys you don't see over the winter months and find out what they've all been up to.

I'm not on facebook so i can't see the pics of the show he posted, but he did say some nice things about it and it meant a lot.
Actually a lot of guys had kind words, so to whoever i spoke with there, thank you!

    And thanks again Dave!

  16. Here's a couple I shot at the show, the car has a fantastic look to it ! As I stood at this angle I could just envision tire smoke rolling off those slicks, everything is in place on this one. There is nothing out of place....period.

Tony, It looks really good!......I have a 6th sense, Hot rods talk to me, And yours has a attitude that may get you into trouble. It says "I will blow away anything on the street". So be careful with her.....LOL

    Tony,
What an amazing ride!! It has maximum attitude... I'm just starting to build a 32 5w I've had for 50years and I can only imagine the feeling of you getting yours on the road. Hope you get to put loads of miles on it. Congratulations!

If you get the chance to see this buggy in person, I HIGHLY reccomend it! Tony has just knocked the ball right out of the park. The car is fucking righteous!!

    Wow man, thanks!
Truthfully speaking, and i'm sure many MANY folks will agree, i didn't do anything at all that has not been done, or over done, hundreds of times...
A 32 Ford with a small block chevy....
But even so, thanks a LOT Andy!

Finally got the exhaust made. Still need to either build inserts for the pipes or buy a pair 'cause i won't be running mufflers and it's WAYYY to loud like this.
I can't stand the typical 3 bolt cut outs that are sold, or the small 2 bolt style and am too cheap to buy em anyway so i made some in the old school 4 bolt style.
Not much more to go til it's fully road ready.

Never saw four bolt cut-outs before, I like them. They really fit the Coupe! Really dig those slicks and mags!

    Thanks Joe.
I saw vintage pics of a few cars with the 4 bolt flange's a long time ago, and always loved the look..So just made them for this.
Wish i saved the photos i saw that had em but never gave it a thought.

Well, it's registered and on the road. I have about 20 or so miles on it so far with no real issues aside from lack of traction.
I did swap out the 16" mags/Blue Streaks for 15" mags/Radir Cheaters to be a bit more legal.
Also pulled the 28 spline 4:30 spool set up and put in 31 spline 4:11 trac-lock and aftermarket axles..
It's SO much nicer! I can actually turn it now, and am not too concerned with breaking an axle..it's the transmission that will blow up. haha
Still need to bend up the roll bar and get the seat belts in it, but needed the room and now that the weather is breaking i can get it outside and use the garage to bend it up.

For those that followed along in my build, and those who helped with parts etc etc over the past 12 or so years, thank you all!
Many of the items i used to build this came from here.

So, hopefully sometime soon i'll actually have pics of it DRIVING and not sitting still.
It's an absolute riot to drive!!!! I love it! :D

    Thanks guys.
