    Said it before,say it again-LOVE YOUR WORK<DUDE!

  2. For me, the FAS fans out from these floor scraps. These are the bulleyes- the rest of us are outside!
Nothing touches the traditional core more than CustomCory. Thanks again realkustom51.

BTW, thanks Jigger and Pharouh ( If your fine '57 was pink it'd be one of my dream cars). I'm taking the water paint technique to an outdoor car show tomorrow in 100° heat. Should be interesting.

  5. Varin-Maeus . . . The Carabian is perfect. Maybe a teal or sea foam green stripe ion the side could tie it in (tri-color was a Carabean's calling card)

Thanks Bob and Best wishes in the heat down under Steve!

Thank you. These 'vettes are stunning.

An older valentine to my sweetie . . .

  6. Lots and lots of truly outstanding work here guys ( and ladies). Im impressed to say the least. The FAS was what I missed most about this place. And thanks for the kind words. I dont get the time to stripe all that much, but Im inspired by all this killer work to try and put in some more time with the brush ( and the gun, and airbrush).

  9. Impalatony, I like you model set up of Nick's Drive In, especially the signs at the corners.

Here is something I've been working on the past couple of weeks. A 48" wide trade show sign for Midwest Hot Rods in Plainfield, Il and a table top version of the same sign based off the sign outside their shop. The large sign still has the protective paper on the laser cut letters (except the I, T and E) until I deliver it tomorrow. Better pictures next week.

Thanks so much Mark(Jigger), Dan (dmccraryart) and Ken(kenmo) and anyone else I might have missed - my reading skills are only suboptimal at best sometimes..

Spoggie - out of sight addition to the big brush series - you actually painted that while at an event?
Pharouh - I had that same 1957 Chevy AMT kit also around that time - probably a couple of years later. Mine was painted bright red. Love what you did with that inspiration.
Ruben - a very palpable nostalgic feeling in that gorgeous painting.
Bob - I don't know if you conjurred her up or if she is real, but she looks fantastic over that roadster and the heart behind it all is truly unique and cool.
Frogz - both your interpretations blow me away. Having seen and photographed Rogers Caddy many times and that same 41 Dodge truck recently at the Rodder's Journal Revival makes me like your mutations even more
Steve V - The electric gold energy and glow of that roadster is incredible!
Dutch - you posters always rock- and this one is no exception.
tonyimpala - your minatures are really cool - I would love to see them in person some time.
Mark (Jigger) - the Buick series is great - I especially like that pink skyline in back of the top one.
Fool injection - great artistic effect on that photo.
Johnny Jalopy - that little T cop car is exceptional - especially the way you did all the chrome.
Nice shot of that 50 Chevy 4-dr, Rick. I reallylike the cool glow you captured.
Dan (dmccraryart) - the level of detail on those Vette abstracts is quite remarkable.

    Excellent showing everyone else. 'night..

  26. Just got home from the Art of Speed III show in Middletown, CT. It will be open tomorrow (Sat.) and Sunday.

  27. Four of them in six hours. And the paint mixes were drying on the pallet, before I could get it onto the canvas. Bloody Adelaide summers!
Some folks may have heard the one about a young Andy Warhol drawing 3 or 5 hundred shoes in one day at an advertising agency.

Rick Amado- so fine. I am biased- I love moredoor fleetlines. That one is making me drool, thanks to you.
