It's 15x5 1/2 with a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern...I know it's from the '50's, but don't know which model/year used it...any help?
Most Chrysler products from the early and mid-50s offered them. The Dodge and Plymouth had that bolt pattern, I believe. The Imperial bolt pattern was larger.
When I was growing up in Tulsa, a lady down the street had the same wheels on her '55 Imperial. Pale green car with white leather interior.
That style of Chrysler 56 spoke wheel was used from the late 40's to 1966 on various Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and deSoto's. Depending on the car, they made them in 14X6 and 15X6 in both the 4 1/2 and 5 1/2" bolt patterns
Actually, 1953 was the first year for those as a Chrysler Corporation offering. They offered them through 1956 according to my books. They will, however fit earlier and later year Chrysler products.
I'm with 31Dodger on the years offered. I have a mint set of custom built ones with hubcaps 15 x 6" and 15 x 8" if anyone is looking for a set. Less than 500 miles on them - no tires. These are the actual wheels below....
They should be for 1953 through 1956 Chrysler or DeSoto. Dodge and Plymouth used the same size but the wires are laced closer to the lip of the wheel. Imperial used this style wires but with a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. Also if they are original (they look like they are) they should be made by Motor Wheel and stamped inside the wheel in the area where the tire goes. Chrysler: Dodge: Imperial: .
