I remember that bitter cold day standing in my pole barn, being able to see our breath from the cold as we were looking over the raw material that you created into this seriously cool Hot Rod,.... You told me your vision for it, And I could see the passion in your eyes and goofy smile about this car....

I had no doubt in my mind that Henry Ford originally built this buggy for you to build your dream out of... I knew it was yours before we even made the deal..... You had such a pathetic grin on your face as you rubbed your hands all over it. I remember after we loaded it up on the trailer you got stuck with your dually in my driveway on the ice,..... (not to mention the time you drove me up the wrong side of the road in Roscommon thinking you were still in jolly ol' England ).

Stewart,.... you have no idea how happy and proud I am of you,.... Do you know that without variation,... what you accomplished in building this car is the exact vision of what you described to me all those years ago in that cold Barn ?...... You seen it through to fruition.

For the rest of the HAMB brotherhood I should point out,.... way before there was a HAMB, Jalopy Journal, "Traditional Hot Rod movement",.... when guys that loved Historical and "Nostalgic" Hot Rods were very, very rare,... Our own "Limey Kid" was a wealth of knowledge and passion about these cars....... Yes,.... He did talk funny, and wore ugly sandals and shorts, with pastie white legs and boney knees.......... BUT ! He came here to pursue Real Hot Rodding,... As a real Hot Rodder,.... And not only did he find the American Dream,..... but he grasped it with both hands.

Stew,.... you "Tea sipping crumpet muncher !" ..... I am proud to count you as a friend and a brother....

Oh yeah,.... And one last thing.... Your car looks outstanding !!!!!

Stewart, it looks great, although I still like the idea of Pink Metalflake with Purple scallops and the "fake" wire wheel spinner hubcaps. Might also tint the glass a deep Orange for effect. Enjoy it and I will see you in the basement in March. Keith
