I have a friend who raced roundy round, there I will ask him.You could also try contacting Marty Himes in Bayshore NY he has an Islip Speedway Museum. Here's his phone number 631) 666-4912 and here's his website http://www.thehimesmuseum.vze.com/ Ok my buddy just got back to me said he didn't know, but as I said give Marty a call he's a really good guy.
Sent a friend of mine a link to this thread, no luck. My friend raced at Islip but said he didn't remember the car.
Check this link Mark Ewantisko ran 36 and was from the Island http://www.speed51archives.com/2005stories/mods/MODS_Ewanitsko_6_05.html
I think that may be Mike Gralto in the former Lew Hennessey Monza. Mike was on Lew's crew and bought a car, I think this may be the one. Norman Pepper, who was also on Lew's crew, restored this car and owns it now.
Someone named Teixiera drove the car when I saw it run, '81-82 is the time frame. Check the link below, I forgot that Ed Brunnhoelzl Jr. drove it as well. http://www.lasheefs.com/Pages/NPepper/NPepper1.html Bob
