Henry J anyone got any tips on SBC in stck frame

    Friend is getting ready to put a small block chevy in his stock henry with stock front frame and susp. Any one done it ?whats he in for,like steering box,floor pans ? any help for him?:D
     
  2. It"ll fit, you just have to make some motor mounts. If he is setting the engine back then you'll have to cut the firewall and toe boards. I still run the stock front suspension and steering box in mine.

    It is bone stocker now wants to make it more drivable but stock appearance Thanks
     
  4. Of course exhaust clearance is an issue by the steering box, my suggestion is to get that figured out during the mockup before hard welding in the engine mounts. The stock springs will hold the weight also.

    hey i got a old hurst mount that came out of the 51 it is front mount probably would work call me
