That is a steal that would sell for twice that much in N florida.I have done the 429/c-6 install on a 66 f100 used 68 t-bird motor mounts-fits like a glove. Also 351M in a 63 f100 but had to buy a crossmember. The only drawback was the 429 is heavier (700lbs) than the others 3-450lbs. Hope this helps.

I think the windshield in my '62 was around $225 installed, I provided the new seal. Let a glass shop order and receive it so you don't have to deal with transporting large glass.

Looks like a good buy to me... Check the cab corners and the front cab mounts - that's where the rust likes to hide.

Looks like a clean machine, here in the midwest those are rusted out so bad. Get it, drive and love that efficient sbc. I dig it man. ~sololobo~

Seeing the Chevy in there would make me want to buy it more!

Thats a good looking solid truck

I bought an all original 66 f-250 with a 352 in it for 2 grand.
I've been using it as my daily driver until I finish a few things on my '46 Chevy coupe and start driving that daily instead.

    Theyre good solid trucks.

Make sure to post more pictures if/when you buy it!

Drive it, and note the 'balance' with the light Chevy. Now consider the 700 lb. Ford up front on a light-in-the-ass pickup.
Tons of fun, a nose-heavy pickup that's true to its marque!

A FE weighs about 50 pounds more than a SBC....and replacing the 90pound cast iron intake with an aluminum one takes over 50 pounds off...and please provide information on where I can find a pick up that is not nose heavy.

Buy it! There is a person with tinted safety glasses, a Dale Earnhardt T-shirt, and a red 84 Camaro in every town that would love that engine.

The gas you put in the tank doesn't know what piston it is going to. If it ain't broke drive the piss out of. Keep the hood down at shows if you want to keep the chuckle heads from commenting.
