1959 Buicks will always be one of my top 3 favorite car so I photograph a lot of the ones I see. Here are some and sorry for some billet wheels (I like 'em).

I love the body lines, makes me want to check it out every time I see one. A radically appealing car.

Even though this '59 Buick is pink, I would drive the hell outta this thing.

It ain't Pink..... it's Coral!

And this car is just too damn cool!

 

Usually when I see a pink kustom, I think "I would like that car better if it were painted a different color"... but this Buick is pretty bad ass in all it's pinkness. Or coralness.

 

I don't know if I'm more pissed about the Buick getting butchered or the Caddy getting butchered... WTF?

Just drove by a local salvage yard and saw this on the side. He takes in cars for scrap but often saves interesting ones on the side for a week or two before crushing. I know nothing about it, it's Sunday, but I took these pics. Here is his info:

If we didn't know better one would think George Barris was working for the GM design group in 59. Cool cars!

 

59 delta wings are awesome! ......need inspiration for my project...I think I just found some!

 

In answer to the earlier question; '58-59 is the first time the VentiPorts were dropped. There were both 3 & 4 before (and after) that, depending on series.

 

I think they would look cool with Edsel wagon tail lights.
